hi, i recently dropped my ipod touch which has left an indent in the back of the ipod(silver casing)which has resulted in the picture on the screen having a few permanent tiny coloured dots when i watch videos, browse the internet etc. the screen itself is fine, its underneath the screen where the problem is i think. i would be very gratefull if anyone couldgive me a solution or tell me whats wrong with it so i can get it fixked. thakyou

a price of how much it would be to fix would be very helpfull!

google how to take ur touch apart. Take the back off and press that dent out. Might fix it.

I'm betting that the dots are dirt or other particles that got into the area under the screen when the iPod was dropped. If that's the case, while you have it open, use a canned air duster before you reassemble it.

Sounds like its a dead pixel to me. I have one on my ipod just from using it. Its a pixel on the screen that stopped working and doesn't show light any more so it just looks black.

Tried running a 'stuck pixel fix' program? I believe there's one on Cydia.

Hi I think I've got pretty much the same problem, i have a iphone 3GS and have 2 pixels that keep going green and sometimes blue and sometimes red, if i open up the phone and unhook the '1,2,3' wires from the back of the screen and put them back onit seems to sort it for a while bu then if it ets knocked they come straight back.
if anyone has any more pernament solutions please could you tel me,
    Many thanks!
also the cydia app doesnt seem to work at all so i dont think their stuck pixels.
