permanent change mac address

    I know that you can change the mac address in terminal with the simple command and it star until you reboot our iPod. And I did the iBooter way to change the mac but it went back adter a reboot. is there a way to permanetly change the address to stay at the set the mac address to stay after rebooting andit be permanent and to chang it in the about section in prefernces too. Thanks

    i don't think that is possible the MAC address is burned onto the board. The only thing you could do is get a new ipod that i know of.

    what exactly is the mac address, and what does it have to do with anything?

    I dont really know what a MAC adress is either. All i know is its kinda like an ID for computers?
