I made a boo boo! I was setting up libusb and I accidently uninstalled the apple mobile device driver. Now my computer thinks my iPod is a camera. I have tried reinstalling iTunes and restarting my computer but this still sucks!

Well yeah but iTunes doesn't detect my iPod and I can't sync or anything like that!

No need to make a duplicate thread, and it is impossible to uninstall the apple mobile device driver while installing libusb

Anyway, aren't all the apple device drivers to be found in some iTunes directory or another?
Try getting rid of libusb, then reinstalling iTunes and if necessary point it to the driver manually.

That's what I said on a different thread... but I've seen a few threads like this claiming to have uninstalled it while installing libusb.
