If he releases it for 4.0 than when the upcoming firmware is released then we will have waisted a jailbreak. And to feel the pain for iPhone 4 users, I have decided not to jailbreak

No one actually know when he going to release it.
And could you explain the point your trying to make a little better? I'm not quite understanding what your trying to say.

Apple Care has stated that a firmware update will not fix the antennae issues.

Yeah, I also heard that Apple is getting sued for "defective hardware".

Its a class action lawsuit, which will take years to get to court and thats if it even does.

It will, however, display the correct bars on the screen. That's why they said they would release a new software; it would fix the algorithm that was wrong.

What happened was they discovered that the algorithm they had been using to display bars on the screen since the original iPhone was all wrong. They are now changing the algorithm to the recently updated algorithm recommended by AT&T.

    Here's proof. Unjailbroken 3G on 4.0.

    Definitely not full bar speed.

By the way, no I don't live in Sayreville, that's just where the closest AT&T server was.
