If you are already on 2.0 and are buying apps from the "app. store", You might be sol.. What if you wanted to jailbreak/unlock with pwnage 2.0?

You might have to restore, Forcing you to buy the same app. twice from the "app. store".

or.. will apple have a way of saving your purchases? so you don't have to buy them again.

    Just a thought..

The App Store remembers which apps you've bought using your iTunes account.

You just click "Get App" and it lets you download it again for free.

It saved it on your iTunes and your HDD and backs it up when you restore or something.

There is a copy saved on your PC, Apple has a record of it at their end and it is on your account that you have bought it. So it doesnt matter even if you have a different iPod you can still put the apps on it if you use your account.
