pen drive

    How to boot the computers from the pen drive? Some people are saying that we can boot our pen drives. I am having an doubt whether it is possible or not. If it give me the procedure or a brief explanation about how to boot the system from pendrive.

    Possible, but laggy. USB can't usually keep up. Linux works pretty good. Also, posted in the wrong section.

    tuktuki, what are you looking to load off it, MS OS, Linux, etc?

    I had some lag on mine when I loaded up Firefox and Gimp and such. I also had Compiz jacked up for portable fanciness.

    I use Ubuntu sometimes off a flash drive. Not as fast as a modern disk drive, but faster then a live cd and any HDD made before 2002

    You can even use GRUB bootloader to hold like 5 different live CD's on your jump drive.
