Hi, today I got an iPod Touch 2G.

I really need to carry (and be able to view) some files in it, mainly PDFs. I read that jailbreak is not available for this version.
Is there any free app that can do this? Or any way I can access the ipod's drive (so then I could open PDFs with Safari)?
I also read that I could send them to my email. However, I need access to this files also while being offline.

    Many Thanks!

I don't know what link Tes pointed you to since those apple links don't ever work for me.
But you should give AirShare a try.

    Hello,

I'd ask for advice - I have a PDF reader called "Caravan" from the Apple Store. This apps works so-so, my biggest problem is that the navigation within pages of a long PDF document is not possible other than touching the screen from page-to-page.... if I want to read the 320th page, I have to scroll there...huhhhh..

Is there any application that matches my needs?

    * No jailbreak, downloadable from AppleStore
    * Fast navigation of PDF files, or tilt scrolling
    * "Go to page" feature within PDF
    * Does not cost too much (or free)
    * Works reliable even on bigger PDF files
    * Provides sync with a Windows based computer

    Thanks,
    B.

    bacizone.

Your best bet would probably be Evernote. You can upload a pdf file to it then you can view it offilne when you set the note as a favorite. You just can't view it on landscape and there's no go to option. The neat thing is that this is totally syncable to your windows computer.

The other option is MightyDocs. then you can sync this with your google Docs account.

Files doesn't have a go to page function. Grrr. I'm waiting for Docs to Go by Dataviz.
