Is it possible to run simple PC games on your iPod Touch?
Because the ipod runs OS X and it does xcode not even .app files form a mac will work.
Unless there is a .app converter
So there's not even an app that allows you to run PC games?
No. Do you know anything about computers? PC's and Mac's are miles apart, there is virtually no cross-compatibility, except for text files, archives, images, etc. And even then, the normal Mac OS X is so different that the iPod touch version, it is impossible without porting it specifically for iPod touch.
Simple Answer: NO.
Ok. Thank you. So what if I was controlling my PC from my iPod, could I play it then?
I doubt it would perform very well at all. It would just look like crap and be awkward to control. If you can do it through VNC or something, why not just use your PC?
vnc is much to slow to have games playing over it at a half-useable speed.
It would be kind of like trying to emulate a Gamecube on your iPod.... so slow, it's not a game. It's a Powerpoint presentation.
Yeah, I tried to play RuneScape (call it stupid IDC) and I managed to get like 2 FPS...
Ok, just wondering. Thanks everybody.
