    Do you have to pay for a GBA emulator? I have heard that you need to pay for some emulators.

    Yes, the developer of these emulators charges for 3.x emulators.

    At least I know he does that with NES?

    Buy a prepaid Visa card!
    You can find them at gas station-type places.

    Zod stole part of the code, as is necessary in porting an app cross-platform.
    He also rewrote it so that it works on apple devices. You can't just install the psp versions of the emulators and expect them to work

    well. you can download gameboy4iphone (GameBoyColor) that's the free on on ZodTTD and MacCiti (i think) if you want gpSPhone, you'll have to buy it for 4.99

    Porting =/= stealing. If he had followed the usage guidelines for the original emulators, he could do whatever he wants. But, in order to keep a monopoly on the emulator market he refuses to release the source code - which is a usage requirement for the emulators he's taken.
