So I bought Final Fantasy and tried putting it on my jailbroken iPod, but once it gets to syncing and then gives me this error
the iPod Kyle's iPod cannot be synced. The disk could not be read from or written to.
Is this because you can't buy apps on a jailbroken iPod?

No, you still can buy apps on a jailbroken iPod.

You're iPod's disk might not be able to be read in iTunes.

First, respring, if that doesn't work, unplug and replug the iPod in. If that still doesn't work, restart it... I had this error back in the 2.0 days (not that long ago

The error has two meanings, it got semi-disconnected and can be detected but not read from or wrote to, OR your iPod has a messed up Flash drive (In this case, a trip to the Apple store will be necessary...

I got that message just yesterday on my iPhone but I just ejected it then plugged it in again and it was fine. Is there enough space on the iPod?

EDIT: looks like I was ninja'd by one minute...

OT: When I posted it said the posts were created two minutes ago and mine was one minute ago. Now it says 57 minutes and 54 but whatever.

On topic: Did the above advice work for you?

Also try using a different USB port, and rebooting your computer as well as your ipod.
