    Pay and go price?

So o2 UK have listed on there website that the new iPhone will be available on the pay as you go network. Anybody know how much it will be? I would have thought it would be more than steve's price of £100. Any ideas?

The 3G iPhone may be at a higher price due to not being on a contract for a specific amount of time, although Steve Jobs did say that he planned to have the 3G iPhone the same price, or lower, all around the world. We'll have to wait and see.

It definitely won't be £99. To get it to £99 o2 are paying some of the price.

lol it won't be £99 for the pay as you go phone. Then there really would be no point in getting an ipod touch.

Well i read at engadget that the non contract price would be 350 euros, which is about £240, which is a more realistic price. You have to remember that the reason the new iPhone is so cheap is because the carriers pay part of the iPhone fee.... because they get it back in the end. So without the contract why would they sell it so cheap?
