Hey guys not sure if this is possible but when i jail broke my iPod Touch 8GB i think i may have changed the password from the default "alpine",

i was just wondering if there is any way of getting back that password, or if there is anyway that i can find it within the iPod directories, or just anyway that i can get this passoword,

    Thanks guys

can't you just open the ssh icon on touch and click
ssh root password : and change it again to some thing you know

If you have MobileTerminal or Term-vt100 installed, you can just go in and type "passwd root" (note that's not password but passwd)

    Alright.

    Install Term-vt100 through Installer.

Inside of terminal, type "passwd" without the quotes, and then enter your new password. It's that simple.
