Ill just assume that gallery does not have pornographic images in it. You cant add a password to it, as far as im concerned. You can hide your images (full res. jpg) in another folder and use mobilefinder/moblepreview to find them and view them with mobilepreview.

It's not about pornography. I'd like to be able to keep some pictures password protected. Could you please help thru the steps getting this mobilefinder/mobilepreview, and how to hide .jpg in another folder?

You could of course use a code which the iPoT asks for every time it starts up to the "slide to unlock"

go to the installer and under productivity install mobile finder and mobile preview. put your picture files in a folder somewhere on you media drive. look for them using mobile finder and double tap a picture to view it. crude but it makes it harder for people to get to the pictures.
