Passcode lock is disabled, but I want to enable it. At the same time, I go into the passcode menu and it is the menu I would have if the passcode is turned on! So, I have to turn off the passcode before turning it on!

So basically, I have total access to my iPod and need to figure out what its passcode is. I only have one passcode I ever use, and that one is not working. I'm thinking that there is no passcode stored, so any passcode I enter to "disable" the passcode would of course be invalid.

It's an interesting problem to say the least! It might have occurred during a 1.1.3 jailbreak, when it said to disable passcode lock before using ijailbreakmobile!

Any help would be much appreciated.

The thing is, I want to see if I can do this without having to restore. Since I can already access the ipod and it's not passcode locked at all, I'm wondering if there are any clever ways to access root files or something.
