partition my ipod?

    can it be done to be partially fat32... i assume if its a secondary partition that the ipod bios will ignore it and boot normally?

    Nope. There's no way to partition it currently. Even if you did, I don't think it would just mount like you're thinking -- It doesn't boot on the Mac either even though it uses the same type of partitions...

    I bet they have disabled disc access so they can sell the iPod compatable software to car stereo companies. My sony £ 150 ($300) stereo won't see my new iPod. My main use is in the car. I feel like I wasted my money.
