I have a MacBook Pro, which contains my music, and an iMac, which has most of my photos. I've set sync to manual and pulled some songs from the MBP to the Touch, as well as bought some apps directly from the Touch. I'd like to take some photos from the iMac and put them on the Touch, but I'm hesitant about connecting the Touch to a second machine, given that when you connect it, it commences syncing (which I take to be backing up files).

Question: can I connect my Touch to a second Mac machine and transfer photos from the Mac to the Touch without screwing anything else up, or do I need to transfer the photos to the MBP and then transfer them to the Touch from there?

    Thanks!

    Steve

Yes, you can do that. The iPod is set for manual sync so you can sync photos from the 2nd computer. I sync movies and music from a mac mini and photos, apps and mail/contacts/bookmarks with my MBP. I even synced content from 3 macs for a short while.
