Parallels has been used on desktops for many years now, but it has finally be brought to iOS devices. Yes you head me correctly, Parallels now on iOS!

The App has been released in conjunction with the Mac counterpart. Parallels Mobile is a free app that lets you poke around on your windows machines from the comfort on your own iPads and iPhone's.

The app does have a fair bit of lag, but other that that you can start, stop and access all your virtual machines from your iOS device. What does that mean exactly? How about checking Outlook, using Flash and much more.

Yeah, just looks like VNC to me.

It's not really that useable for Flash either, because of the delay.
(Depending on what you want to do, of course)

Still, it's cool to see Parrallels' giving the iPhone / iPod some attention.

or get logmein ignition for 30$, install the free client in the VM and you get the same result.

edit: after watching the video, I am worried about the way they handle the mouse control. Direct input is not always easy on a small screen.

From the video, for a sec, I was like "Whoa, that's fast." Then I realized it was sped up and not the original recording speed. LAME.

Never speed up a video demonstrating remote access or emulation. We need to know the actual usage experience.

Windows 7 comes with a touch-friendly mode, I wonder if that makes it any easier.
