I am confused! Which is the best device to have either palm pre or ipod for my medical softwares? I am thinking to change my old Tungsten E2, as it is not working well. Anybody here uses Skyscape products on pre or ipod? They can surely assist me. Thanks!

    Device:
    4G iPod touch
Depends on if you want a phone or a music playing device

I hope you understand that the Pre is a sprint phone with a monthly contract while the iPod touch is a non carrier device without the monthly bills. And for medical purposes. I would look at the apps for both devices.

I would prefer Palm pre, as you will be able to take the calls of ur dear one's at work. You can also install and access other application and medical references like Skyscape, etc.on it, I heard they released the products for palm pre and it works very well.

Also, if you install an older version of iTunes, you can get the Pre to show up as an iPod

I think both the devices has almost same feature. You can install medical software like Skyscape.
