So I purchased the Motorola S9 stereo bluetooth headset and am having problems pairing it with my 2G iPhone. Well I got it to pair as a hands free headset. But can't get it to play music. What do I need to do? I was under the impression that with 3.0 it allows this now. I am jailbroken and unlocked if that makes a difference. Do I need to buy the adapter? Thanks in advance for the help.

So what does the 3G have that the 2G doesn't? If they have the same 3.0 software why would one have it and one wouldn't? Is there a jb app that adds it?

You have to buy the little square adapter to put at the bottom.

I have the S9's and if I could I'd return them. Look at the information that came with them. The area that the bluetooth works is above the waistline. This means if I have my iPod Touch in my pocket the bluetooth sound will go in and out every so often.
