Knowing Apple, they probably would but it's not guarented. If they do make the iWork apps for the iPod touch/iPhone though, I can access it on my friend's iPhone. =P

I remember seeing a picture on Apple's site involving Keynote.

It was asking the user to open the attachment in "Keynote."
The picture was quickly removed after people started talking about it. So maybe they do plan on moving it over to the iPhone.

You would get an iPad just for Pages? You know Mac has it?

Go to either the iPhone 4 features page or the ios 4 features page, scroll to near the bottom and there is a screenshot of mail asking if it can open an attachmant in keynote. On an iPhone.

That screen was quickly replaced with one that says "Open in iBooks" though. So chances are, they had some sort of miscommunication with their interface design team and the design team might have mistaken iBooks for Pages. If they were going to bring it, they would have touted it right in the keynote. iMovies, and now iBooks, why would they miss out on iWorks for iPhone, right? But still, don't take my words for it. I could just be talking nonsense.

I don't think they will. The UI for the iWork applications on the iPad is already simplified enough with the giant screen. If ported to the iPod touch/iPhone, there would be even more difficulty cramming all of those elements into a tiny screen. It's simply infeasible.
