Output Has To Log

    The output of the iphone/ipods speaker ports has to be logged or visible somewhere. No ones ever found anything?

    I can make a visualizer if i can find this!

    you're about 6 months behind the cutting edge...
    the audio subsystem is well-understood and there is, in fact, no live buffer for what you wish to do.

    for the most part it goes right from the file buffer to the d2A and out..

    the only acronym i used was D2A: digital-to-analog,
    its a chip that takes a bitstream(like a wave file) and turns it into electrical impulses to drive a speaker or headphones...
