Well, this is the second time this has happened...

I just downloaded bosstool. And i did clear disk space and did rearange fonts (Something like that) And when that was done, i tryed to go to settings... And what do you know??? I click on it, settings crashes almost instantly, and then i tryed Safari, same thing, i tryed 2 more times. So, i turned my iPod off and on, but my iPod froze at the Startup screen (You know the one that has the little apple?)

So any ideas on how to fix? (Please don't give me any solutions that require me to loose all my stuff.)

    Thanks,
    ~JavaBoy

In ZiPhone, select the the Advanced tab.
    Next, click on Normal Mode

This will find your iPod. When it says booting into Restore Mode, don't panic.
If the Apple logo doesn't go away, repeat.
    Good luck!

If its the apple without the spinning circle thing.
I found that restarting it by holding both the sleep and home button for 10sec or so, and pluging in the usb connector to the computer (without turning it on yet) it would boot itself backup in a few minutes or less.

This is without putting into restore mode.
Holding the sleep and home button for 10 seconds only reboots the itouch/ turns it off

edit: i dont know what happens if you hold both for the 30 seconds (like it takes to enter restore mode.)
so i recommend if you think your finger slipped, retry the procedure of 10 seconds.

and one more thing, I restarted mine when disconnected from the computer. because when you connect the ipod to the computer when off, it will turn itself on.

the spinning one at the bottom is the ipod telling you its working its magic. You just need to wait a bit. Ive only never been able to fix mine when the spinning thing is in the middle.
