ok as the name says above i was wondering if its possbile to downgrade my pwned 1.1.4 ipod touch to 1.1.2 as 1.1.4 is a bloody pain in the ass as i have read that it bricks your ipod or iphone if you downgrade 1.1.1/2.

the only reason i pwned my ipod touch was because of the custom boot logos but i then found out i couldn't downgrade so i was a bit foocked

Not sure why you would want to downgrade, but you can restore your ipod and then try installing 1.1.2 with you ipod in DFU mode.

he reason I want to downgrade is am sick of apps not working because my iPod runs in mobile mode like finder does not work correctly if you give it system writes the preferences don't load if you change it to 777 then you can't delete stuff or change stuff so its just a pain.

You can downgrade whenever you want if that's what you are asking. Simply Alt+Click the Restore button and choose the firmware you want. Keep in mind the the new 2.0 firmware is coming this June so it might not be worth it.

i dont see why it would brick it, the only thing id do is return to a NORMAL 1.1.4, then use ZiPhone or something to put it into DFU or whatever mode to downgrade.

I can figure out what exactly you are saying but if you follow one of the guides we wrote it will work fine!

I tryed downgrading but it never worked i kept getting error 6 with the firmware 1.1.2 or 1.1.1 so i just stuck with 1.1.4 as it doesn't seem to want to downgrade.
