    Hi Ive got a 1st gen ipod Touch with a fresh install of the 2.2 software.

    Ive followed this guide several times and it always stops at the same point. Right at the start. It stops in the screen that says:

    " Sending WTF.s5l8900xall.RELEASE.dfu "

    From looking at the video that screen goes within seconds and carries on installation. Mine however doesn't.

    Am i doing anything wrong?

    when you jailbreak your ipod do you have to resync all of your music?

    QuickPwn Can't Find Firmware

    I have downloaded the iPod Touch 1st Gen 2.2 Firmware and have place it in a file on my desktop entitled "QuickPwn", I would have thought it couldn't have been simpler for quickpwn to find the firmware but when I try to jailbreak my iPod it tells me it can't find any firmware, what gives? How can I make quickpwn notice the blatantly obvious ipod firmware on my MacBook 13" White...?????
