OS Lion Still Opening Windows

    For some reason even after the latest update which was supposed to fix this problem, Lion still keeps opening windows I had open before I shut off my computer. It's annoying, and it seems to make my MacBook Pro lag when it first boots up. Anyone still have this problem? I might have to go to the Apple Store to try and get this fixed x.x

    Under System Preferences > General did you uncheck "Restore windows when quitting and re-opening apps"?

    Reinstalling Lion and wiping the hard drive fixed it! :p

    Never mind, it's still doing it >.>

    Hm.. Odd. The thing that they fixed was it checked the box everytime so you had to uncheck it everytime you restarted, but I never had the problem you are having. You sure you're not having programs/apps start up at login? Like in your dock right click and should have a option to open at login or not for the app/program. Otherwise you might be able to find a terminal command to disable it all together.
