Is there an app for this?
Don't think so, as far as I know, the only way to organize them is by doing it from the iPod/iPhone.
Is it really that hard to just touch the screen? Please Register or Log in to view images

Use a VLC Client to see your iPod's screen on the computer, and you should be able to control your iPod from the computer, and just edit them that way.
Thats extremely unhelpful

I wasn't saying it to be unhelpful, or rude. I'm genuinely curious why you would choose to move icons around on your Touch from your computer when you could simply touch the iPod screen. Please Register or Log in to view images
I think our friend was just curious for another alternative to organize the iPod screen... It can get quite troublesome to move the icons around, especially if there are more than two pages...
Fair enough. I was just curious about his reasons, so I asked. I seriously wasn't trying to be mean or anything. I was just curious.
It would be cool if there was an app for your computer to show all springboard pages at once. Basically, you open it, connect your Touch/iPhone, then it displays all of the Springboard pages on your computer's screen for easy editing/setup.
Apple could have built something like this into Itunes, at the very least they could have had a coverflow style view for the apps!
