Yes, I have posted probably five times in other threads before posting this, and only got one response. It was from someone who ordered from New York, and had to pay tax for his iPod Touch. Really got no good help from anyone else.

I heard there is some super savings things where you can order one with free shipping and no tax. Is this true?

How can I find out if it's free in WA State? Thanks for any help.

Go to Amazon and go through the order process for the Ipod. You will be able to review your order which will show the shipping charges and tax before you commit to the order. If you don't like what you see then just cancel the order.

So you're saying there IS tax?

I don't want to go through the steps. I'm only researching into prices at the moment. I also want experiences from those who have ordered from Amazon.

it depends on the individual states' laws and whether amazon has a corporate presence there. it really is your best choice to just partially go through the ordering process and see what the price is.

Yup, you will pay taxes for any orders placed/shipped from/to Washington state. That's why I order from Buy.com when I can; no taxes.

Hm, so how is your overall experience from buy.com? Are they reliable?

What about returns and warranties? Thanks a bunch for your help.
