I downloaded ORB from the I-Tunes store yesterday. This program allows you to steam video, music and files from your laptop/computer to your Ipod Touch/IPhone. It works great over my wireless LAN in my house and is supposed to work well over the internet. This program can also be used to stream content from your computer over the internet to a remote computer or Ipod.
Pros- allows you to watch AVIs (no conversion necessary) on your Ipod without putting them on the ipod itself. It's great for steaming music to your Ipod also. It also allows you to steam the content to PS3/Wii/Xbox although I have not yet tried this feature.
Cons- does not work with the audio video cables to watch the videos on a television. You also have to have a fast internet connection for it to perform well over the internet. Your Laptop or Computer must be relatively new also.

This app is pretty old. I got it the other day and it's very useful.

Well i heard the trial version sucks and i'm not paying $9.99 for the full version. Simplify Media does the same thing but for $3.99 i think.

Simplify Media is totally different from Orb Live.

Lol thats why its a trial version otherwise there'd be no point in buying the full version.

You don't need the Orb app at all. I access Orb through Safari and it is actually better. It sees more of my files and allows me to bookmark my Sirius radio channels for listening on my Touch. (Have to use uSirius to get the urls for the channels and already have a Sirius account.)
