Well I been reading up on the iPhone and unlocking and switching to T-Mobile. I plan on getting one.
What I want to know is the pros and cons and if there will be any trouble trying to do any of the things necessary to get the iPhone onto T-Mobile?

BAD: you will need a supported sim to originally unlock ur iphone, and u hav to be dependent always on jailbreaks and unlocks
GOOD: it can be much much cheaper, you can also benefit your device by using jailbreak tools/tweaks, because u must first jailbreak then download a simple unlock thru cydia. the Unlocking tool is known as Blacksn0w. and is made by devs so is VERY reliable

What do you mean a supported sim?

I'm ok with having to rely on jailbreaks I guess. I just want the iphone to use over the ipod, i might use it as a cell for a couple of months.
