In a recent article by Yahoo, they state about how the Opera Mini Browser could have massive security risks. The problem takes place in the way the compression works. The idea is that what your opening is sent to Opera's servers in Norway, then sent back with compression technology. So Opera can see what your sending, including passwords and more! This is a huge hole, but the speed depends on it.

In my opinion, nothing to worry about. However facebook did go mental when I tried to access it from opera mini because it saw my account being accessed via Norway. I had to log in on my computer and say it was alright that it did that and reactivate my account.

Yea, thing is, this can also be used as a proxy filter for schools. Its a huge security risk, and alot of users wont like it
