Oh lol, well maybe Opera should've coded it in Objective-C and they would haz success!!!!
And at last, people realize - or start to - that Opera MINI =/= Opera Mobile or Opera Desktop. Plus, Mini's designed to change the desktop experience to cut it down to use as little data (and screen space) as possible, which would kinda take the 'Web in your pocket' appeal of the iPhone/iPod experience away.
i thought it was because they don't want it to mess with safari
i guess not
Same, but I thought it was because they didn't want any so called "competition".
For anyone who isn't paying attention to Jarlath or a bit dense to listen to him, He is saying that Opera Mini is a CRAP experience compared to Opera Mobile or Opera Desktop. Its even worse than Safari.
It's like PocketIE, but without any flash or large graphics, and running through a proxy server. But worse.
I personally prefer Safari over Opera, but I think that the port over for Opera wouldn't have been that great, or much faster in any case.
