OpenSSH

    i have tried installing it but it doesnt show up on my icons list so i cant figure out the IP.. any ideas? or maybe im just stupid

    ok nvm i got the IP address thing but where do i get ''Terminal''

    yeah you're just stupid cause it isnt an app, and to check your ip address you go to settings>wi-fi-then tap the blue arrow next to your wi-fi network and one more word

    OpenSSH doesnt put a icon on the springboard. Do this to get your IP.

    Settings - WiFi - (Network Name) - Then it says the IP address

    Get MobileTerminal from Cydia.

    i tried doing what Cydia told me to do on how to SSH but i cant figure out this Terminal thing..

    but i still need help with MobileTerminal i dont get it

    You don't need Terminal unless you want to change the password to SSH into your iPod

    If you are using windows download and install WinSCP, FileZilla, SFTP. If you are on mac or linux find a application that does SFTP.

    You need to make sure you are connecting via SFTP.

    For the host you put the ip adress.

    For the user name it is- root

    For the password it is- alpine

    Connect with port- 22
