OpenSSH?

    Went into Cydia downloaded and installed OpenSSH, restarted my Ipod touch.

    But theres no openSSH icon to be found.


    i reinstalled, same problem. what do id o?

    i have an ipod touch 3g
    update 3.x

    well that tut is crap. if you wanna SSH, do it over USB using iFunBox.

    Wow. Thats a lot of help.

    There is no icon for OpenSSH. It's a console package.

    wtf is your problem, we have all been here like this on some subject or another.

    Once you have SSH installed it will now listening on port 22 from now on.
    So use something like putty (for CLI) or filezile (for GUI) access to your iphone/pods file system.

    have fun.

    i suggest you change your root passwd and install a toggle such as SBSettings to switch on and off SSH access.
