Ok, so I've been spending the last hour trying to get this c*ck sucker to work, but OpenSSH is just being a major b*tch.

I can't upgrade it, nor can I uninstall it.

TRUST ME, I"VE SEARCHED THESE FORUMS... FIRST THREE PAGES OF RESULTS UNDER "OPEN SSH".... Getting impatient, unfortunately.

....... f*** sakes. Nevermind - I'll just re-jailbreak the proper way when I get back from the store at 3:00am because I'm stressed out and need some smokes... and it's a 20 minute damn walk. GRRRR!

hey i had same problem, and i solve it... i use Nate True's method, first when i started iBrickr, i have just installed - Installer, nothing more... Then i upgraded to 1.1.3 using iBrickr and then I install BSD Subsystem + OpenSSH... But SSH on 1.1.3 dont work with WinSCP, so i try CuteFTP, and it works

So try start iBrickr with only Installer installed or try use CuteFTP.
Hope it helps, and sorry for my english

i use winscp and it works fine... it resets your password to "alpine" rather than one you specified on a previous jailbreak... it took me a bit to figure it out... other than that WinSCP works just like it did for previous firmware versions...

I'm in the midst of restoring and going down to 1.1.2,
    jailbreaking it,
then going back up to 1.1.3,
    jailbreaking it,
then re-installing all of my apps,
    re-syncing all of my music,
    all of my videos,
    all of my podcasts,
    and all of my photos.

I should be done in about 2 f***ING hours.

    Fun, fun, fun........ *sigh.

What I've done so far (4:15am):
    - Restored Ipod.
    - Now running 1.1.3 Firmware.
    - Next step is to downgrade to 1.1.2.

    ...

    Updates (4:20am):
    - Okay, now I've "restored to "Jody's iPod Touch" and got my Contacts back.

Thank God!! (Hopefull my notes will still be in tact once I install the App Pack, after all of this is done!)

why 1.1.2, don't you need to go back to 1.1.1 to jailbreak 1.1.2? or do you not plan on jailbreaking?

Since when do you need to be on 1.1.1 to jailbreak 1.1.2?

    Updates (4:44am):
    - After a bit of an issue trying to downgrade/restore to 1.1.2, I've finally done it.

    - I wasn't reading the instructions carefully enough the first time around, so I did have to do it all twice.

    - I used this method to restore down to 1.1.2. (http://rupertgee.wordpress.com/2008/01/17/worlds-easiest-113-to-111-downgrade/)

    - I think it has something to do with the time being 4:44am.
