it doesnt show up. Install BossPrefs and you can control if its on or off.

open SSH problem and vt100-terminal problem

    Hi, related to this,
    i have a fresh jailbroken 1.1.4 32g iptouch.

have installed openssh - it doesn't show up on the menu tho bossprefs says its on,

so on trying to use term-vt100, i get asked for "password"
    have entered "alpine"

    but keeping getting "wrong password"

(by teh way unlike the sticky about 1.1.4 on the forum, ziphone jailbroke this 32iptouch properly)

    thanks

OpenSSH will not show up on the Springboard. You need to install SUID Lib Fix and BSD Subsystem 2.0 Term Fix before you use term-vt100

    wow. that worked!
super. had the bds sub2 term fix, but not SUID

if you don't mind another naive question:
is there a good way to get at cntrl keys (and a delete by backspace key?)

sorry - very new to this platform.

    thank you again.
