    Hi,
don't know what I'm doing wrong. OpenSSH doesn't show up in my SpringBoard after the installation. Have tried re-installing.
I used the Dev Team 1.1.3 Soft Upgrade, coming from a clean 1.1.1 -> 1.1.2 upgrade, which automatically had installed SSH in 1.1.2.
If someone could direct me to a solution, would be much appreciated (have been searching the forums for quiet a while now).

    Cheers!!

(ps. on that note, any themes I install for summerboard dont show up in summerboard itself. a solution for this would be great too haha!)

OpenSSH isn't an application, so it doesn't show up on SpringBoard. But there are applications for turning SSH on and off (probably what you were probably thinking of).

Yes, you can download applications such as BossPrefs or Netservices for turning SSH on and off.

doesnt work. downloaded bossprefs, which indicated that ssh was on. tried connecting, and got a connection failed message anyway.

OpenSSH doesnt show up on springboard like other apps do (such as installer, summerboard, etc) because technically its not really an app, its just there, sort of like BSD subsystem.
i do wish it would show up like in the 1.1.2 upgrade, i'll see if i can find it somewhere

so, it doesn't show up in 1.1.3, but I'm finding no solution for why it's not working at all.
I'm using port 22. SFTP protocol, username root, password alpine, and the correct ip.

thx for the help so far though!
