OpenSSH installed, but not visible on screen

    Hello,

    I´ve installed openSSH in installer, but I does´nt see the openSSH icon on my screen.

    Thanks in advance...

    It's not supposed to be visible on the screen. But trust that if you can get into your iPod via SSH or SFTP, then it installed correctly.

    Open SSH is just basically installed as an aid to help connect to your ipod remotely (from what i understand anyway) if you have a sftp client Open SSH will allow you to remotely access your ipods filesystem and allow you to transfer files.

    Thanks for this info.

    Maybe I mixed it up but I remember that there exists a app to open and close SSH very easily.

    Hi, there is an app to turn SSH on or off, it's called Services and it's in installer. You really have to install it if you have SSH, because it kills your battery life when it's on all the time. So download services, then you can just turn on SSH when you need to SFTP into your ipod.
