I've been trying to use winscp for about two hours and I can't get it to work... And I can't find the ssh fix in the installer so if anybody has the source for it could they please post it?

And before u ask I've got the app set up like this

Host name: my ip...yeah I know its right too
    username:root
    password: alpine
    port: 22
    file protocol:sftp

And I don't wanna use anything but winscp cuz if I can't use it I can't fully install ubuntu Linux and I'll have to dual boot which I hate.

Edit: whoa my browser screwed up and accidently made 2 threads sorry could a mid delete one please?

I'm having the same problem. I downloaded SSH, but the icon doesn't show up and the SSH fix isn't showing up on installer, I've refreshed the sources multiple times.

i believe the 113opensshfix is in the apptapp official repo. http://repository.apptapp.com if you dont have it but installer should have that one by default.. do a sources refresh

also what very of ubuntu are you on? Im a member of the ubuntu forums also.

What happened to the 1.1.3 open SSH fix? It was there, and when I tried to install it I got a package failed message. Then I refreshed, installed a new version of installer and the fix is gone.
