Hey guys im fairly new to this process so go easy on me.
II have an ipod touch 1st g with 2.1 software.
i jailbroke it using QuickPwn21_1 it all worked out fina and i got installer and cydia on my home screen
I read around and it is my understanding that if i want to send filesto my ipod i must install OpenSSh and then SSH into my ipod and send files.
if i go to cydia and install OpenSSH it starts downloading, and about a third of the way through it says "Return to Cydia" It doesnt install.
Installer just crasher if i try to install it.
P.S. is there another way to send files into the interior of the ipod?

No, you installed it correctly. OpenSSH doesn't have a icon. Now download WinScP on your computer, then you can ssh into it.

Alternatively you can dload Total Commander and a T-pot plugin, which is USB based (no need for wifi). Again, like above, search the forums for guides. I think DiskAid can be used too, only it doens't change permissions.
