Now that a bootrom exploit has been found, is that enough to get openiboot and subsequently android on newer devices?

well the ipod touch 2nd gen MB has had a bootrom exploit for over a year and openiboot still hasnt been ported fully, i dont know if this is because people are working on it stages or because it takes a lot of time

Now that there is more devs, you never know.
The iPod Touch 2G isn't being worked on because the devs for openiboot most likely don't own one or spend time working on other things.
