How how open ssh is not working with 2.1, I just jailbroke, and installed openssh from cydia and added it under the toggel for bossprefs, I enter the IP Address and password and it wont work...

It says conecting to host but it never does anything...

Make sure your computer and ipod are on the same network. You may need to reset your router which usually always works. I know the network thing seems stupid buy my ipod joined my neighbors wifi one day and I was going crazy trying to solve the issue. Make sure its SFTP, port 22, Root and Alpine for user and password.

One last thing, it will take awhile the first time because it's generating keys. It will usually ask to accept them the first or second time so be sure to say yes.

I just rebooted, lets see if it works now. BTW, we are on the same network.

Remember you can always use iPhone Tunnel Suite instead. No Wi-Fi required.

    Works great too.
