I don't know if it would work well, or legal(haven't looked through the terms of the app entirely), but this can turn out very good (or very bad). It's possible to port Open Office to the iPhone/iPod Touch. Whether it works well or not is a totally different story.

Of course it would have to fit into a new UI, and be watered down (Just enough), but still have all the basic functionalities of any word processor(Highly possible), speadsheet(already done), and powerpoint (Might be a bit confusing). I would also have to be able to save in the new office formats.

This would make a great free option against the Documents to Go that is apparently coming to the iPhone(release hasn't been given out yet, just announced).

Give me your opinions on this and if someone wants to, please attempt to port it.

If you want an Office app suite on the iPhone from Mac, NeoOffice is the way to go since its a Mac native port from OpenOffice.

NeoOffice definitely is the way to go. OpenOffice is terrible!

i use Microsoft Office, I didn't pay for it though, if i didn't know how to get it for free i would use open office or neo office.

I am looking for an app. that allows me to open, edit, and save Microsoft Office Documents. Does anyone have any ideas of what I can use?

There are too many buttons on a very small screen.. It just won't work out unless you port it and then accommodate some major UI overhauls and tweaks... I'm going to suggest you stick to the PC for your office apps.
