My power button is very sticky, it doesn't work properly at all. Is there a tutorial to open the itouch 2g so I can fix it myself? I don't want to send it into apple and waste the time.. Thanks for the personal help or links

Never try to open up your iPod Touch by yourself. You will fail for sure.

    I'm not sure about links.

actually i did to replace the battery..

    go to utube..

oh and be carefule when u unscrew the main processor as it is oh so fragile...i reccomend
u use a knife to pry the adhesive under the proccessor so u dont risk snapping it.....
(u need to remove the processor to gain access to the home button)

If you can still somewhat use it

I recommend leaving it as is. You don't want to open the iPod and break something else, then you'll have more than just a broken button. How would you go about opening the case anyways? Or maybe you really should send it to Apple.

They have tools to get it open.

You'd be better off just sending the iPod to Apple to fix it.

Your better off letting apple handle it, if you have an apple retail store nearby, try them, otherwise don't try to open it up and void the warranty.
