ok so I want to have wifi on my ipod touch 2gen at school.
I made the .mobileconfig file using the windows web utility and I have send it to my email (hotmail).
I tried using safari to download the attachment and I got an error that safari isn't able to download the file. ok, tough luck, so I did some research on the net, and it seems that using the mail-app was a better option. I send the file to my yahoo and gmail accounts (and even specially opened a aol account just incase). Non of them were able to open the attachment. I got the message:
"IMAP Account (Company Account)" is missing information needed to install it.

So I go this error on all the 3 different accounts.

Now I am wondering did someone else experience the same problem and/or could you tell me how to solve it?

sorry for the long-post, but I guess it made this quite clear

The Mail App can only open Certain Attachments, so it Probably won't work.

I Understand that you are New, but Please Refrain from Posting the same thread more than Once.

Ok, I'll remember that in the future.

But also from the instructions from the iphone web utilities, it says that you have to send the file to your email, and then open it on your itouch

If the Mail app gives an Error as you say, then it probably Won't ever Work. Send me a Link of the Instructions you Speak of.
