The one that that i just HATE about macs is the green maximize button does not make the window full screen. i absolutely hate how it doesnt do that and just makes it a pain in the ass for me to have to drag the window and format it myself to make it full screen. only in some applications the green button makes it fullsreen, why doesnt apple make it so that the green button makes it fullscreen it would make everything so easy. and not a hassle. does anyone agree? i mean its not that bad but it is very annoying for me

Umm, I have no problem with this at all, I guess its probably I have a 20 inch screen. I don't need the window to be that big. I still want to be able to see my Dock. What are you trying to Maximize? If you want Safari to be full screen, get Glims.

Both Safari & Firefox follow Apple's guidelines (the browser does that crappy semi-full screen). But, Opera does not. Opera goes FULL screen!

I keep Opera on my mac mainly for that one purpose!

Works fine for me. Just press it and it goes full screen, no worries.

You basically want to make the maximize button on a Mac work like Windows maximize button, right? I thought it was weird when I first got my Mac but now everything lines up perfectly and i've got used to it
