I was having some issues with 1.41GB of "other" stuff showing up in iTunes, so I followed someone's advice here and wiped the iPod music/videos section through BossTools...but now I only get 5.8GB of free space showing up and iTunes will no longer detect my iPod properly...does anyone know how to get the other 1.41GB back? I've deleted all the big files I could think of, such as ROMs.

Are you sure the 1.41 GB of "Other" stuff wasn't things from jailbreaking?
Also, it could have been the iPod OS, unless that doesn't show in iTunes.

Besides that, I would also recommend restoring. It's just a glitch.

This just appeared a few days ago...for the last 4 months, my 1.1.3 JB with about 40 apps has been running perfectly OK...so I don't think the 1.41 GB was from the OS or anything related to jailbreaking. I've installed all the patches, moved apps around, etc.

Can you still access your media on your iPod?

Yeah, I can access all the songs/videos in iTunes and all the jailbreak stuff via WinSCP or Total Commander...

I just backed everything up in preparation for re-jailbreaking. I guess the time has come to update to 1.1.4...
