Get rid of syncing to iTunes over an actual computer.

I think the full iTunes experience should be right on the iPad, as in you can do everything on the iPad's iTunes, like sync your iphone/ipod to the iPad instead of on the computer.

Agree or disagree? I think it'd be much better. Then you wouldn't need a computer to sync the iPad too either.

With the current design of the device...

I agree, I think that the iPad should be a standalone "computer". By the 3rd-4th generation I'd say, they will probably give it a regular female USB port, and let you sync other devices to it.

After that many generations, they would just build in the iTunes capability onto the device. It would be a little more like a "computer" and less like an iPod Touch. I have NO idea how/why, but someone asked, so I answered.

they should have had a mac mobile os and not iphone os if it was going to be a tablet. with iphone os its just a big new gen ipod touch. if it had mac mobile then it would work for what the op is saying.

Yes, I think this is a very plausible idea on the current iPhone OS if storage capacities were great enough for storage of all a persons music/movies.... Even at current capacities you should be able to backup your device and manage basic things like apps (most of which aren't very big in size).

Hmm, I wouldn't mind it, it be pretty cool. I can live without it, but it be a really cool idea to add. Just like a computer of some sort, but I see some problems as getting already payed songs etc onto it.

I agree that it would be nice to have, I doubt Apple will do this anytime soon.
