I used QuickFreedom to jailbreak a friends iPod 2G.
He somehow restored it back to factory.
Can I just restore to the custom firmware, that QuickFreedom made ?
Or do I have to run QuickFreedom again ?
    Thanks.

You can re-use that firmware as many times as you want, just skip to the pre-jailbreak part of the program, skip the firmware making.

Yep. You can simply restore the iPod with the custom firmware. I'm pretty sure...

Doesn't he have to run the Pre-jailbreak commands for the ipod to accept the custom firmware?

Yeah but he doesn't have to wait forever to remake the firmware again.

You dont have to re-make the firmware, you just skip til the step where it says put in DFU and start the pre-jailbreak.
