OMG need iphone expert help?

    Help
    I bought my iphone from ebay...and i don't think it works....NO
    The phone is stuck on "connect to itunes" logo.Yes, itunes still recognizes the iphone however I was not able to restore it. I received an error message.What is wrong with it..Can i still fix it.

    DFU, then restore.

    i have tried it in DFU mode but still wont work....It just shows an error message saying unable to restore...

    Was the screen black all through out the DFU process?

    yea but then a error message in itunes pops up and goes back to the
    "connect to itunes"...Do you guys think it might be because water damage

    the ebay seller said it might of been because water damage

    well if it boots it *should* be restorable.

    i have tried a million times but still does not work ...its a first gen so yea
