OK.. please help me... i dont know if this is serious but i was using iLiberty to jailbreak my ipod (firmware 1.1.2, bought with 1.1)
so it looked like all was fine until it said "booting ramdisk"
at this point nothing was happening so i tried the power butoon.. and as predicted, it came on and the scrolling text came on the screen...
now it was taking a while so i left it overnight.
i wake up and the same thing is happening over and over again ..

    BSD root: md0, major 2, minor 0

i've tried the power and home button thing but nothing seems to work.. what do i do??

plz help me .. i'm really scared at this point...

I also had that and kinda freaked, JUst keep holding power and home button. It will turn off, but keep holding them. Then after a while it will go in recovery mode, just hold home button now.
Then I-tunes will recognize it and you can restore it.
Atleast thats what helped for me. GL

How flame777 already set use Ziphone and set your iPod first in Recovery Mode.
If it doesn't work set it in DFU Mode.
    This should work.

In your case i should use Firmware 1.1.4
I think it's the best you can do because mostly all apps can run there and the firmware is the most save at the moment

ok.. will do so.. however, let me tell u how i have been using ziPhone till now...

    1) restore ipod with firmware 1.1.2 (havnt done 1.1.4 because i couldnt find a direct link)
    2) close itunes and end task with all itunes/ipod deamon ( that is itunesHelper.exe, itunes.exe, appleMobileDevice.exe)
    3) connect ipod and run ziPhone 3.0 and then hit the jailbreak button....
    4) watch how everthing happens and be dissapointed that it didnt work....
    5) tug on my balls so hard that start bleeding...

lol.. the last two were made up.. but yeah.. thats what i do.. lemme know if i'm doing it wrong..
also.. i really like the ziphone plugin to install apps...goood work

ZiPhone 3.0 works with and only with firmware version 1.1.4.

It seems like you're trying to jailbreak 1.1.2 with ZiPhone 3.0....

You can get any firmware here: (except 2.0 of course)

No, you put it into DFU mode, restore to 1.1.4, then open up ZiPhone and hit jailbreak (the iPod button btw).
